In July 2023 I was lucky enough to visit Melides, a village in Portugal belonging to the municipality of Grandola. This village, hidden for me, made me fall in love with its tranquility, and its unspoiled nature reminded me somehow of our Uruguayan landscapes. These photographs are the record of a walk through the cork oak plantations, in search of the best spot to see the sunset.
